According to a press release issued by the Milton Police Department (MPD), the operation was conducted in coordination with multiple local and state law enforcement agencies. Authorities stated that the enforcement action focused on illegal and unlicensed products marketed to or accessible by minors.

During the operation, police seized more than 500 illegal e-cigarette products and arrested multiple store clerks suspected of selling vape products to individuals under the legal age.
